Part-time Information Systems Administrator reporting to the Managing Director.
Part-time Salary: £10,000 per year.
Hours of work and Location: Flexible depending on time of year, equivalent to 2 days per week + 7 days during the festival week in June. Work from home, with occasional attendance at the Chalke History Festival Office in Broad Chalke for meetings and throughout the festival week.
Pension: Chalke History Festival has a pensions scheme managed by Nest.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Information Systems Administrator.
Are you tech-savvy with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Information Systems Administrator to ensure our IT platforms are operating efficiently and up to date, supporting the seamless delivery of Chalke History Festival.
In this part-time role, you’ll manage and maintain a variety of new IT platforms across the organisation, ensuring critical information is always accurate and accessible. Your expertise will help streamline our operations, keeping everything running like clockwork behind the scenes.
This role offers flexibility in terms of working days and hours.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Volunteers Manager with managing the Volunteer Hub CRM system (Better Impact). This will include setting up volunteer schedules, data management and group emails.
- Supporting the Marketing Director and Membership Manager with the Membership Club website with data entry, video and audio uploads.
- Helping set up the Schools Festival application system (Cvent)
- Helping set up the speaker and living history application system (Cvent)
- Supporting the Chalke team with Dropbox enquiries and maintenance
- Proactively monitoring the festival’s online and data storage security and making recommendations on how to improve.
- Providing support to the festival team where required, throughout the festival week in June.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Previous experience using CRM systems or databases
- An ability to learn IT systems quickly and be confident in using them
- Experience of training IT systems to colleagues
- A strong teamworking ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage a workload with competing priorities
- Proactive and flexible to adapt to changing needs and fresh challenges
Desirable:
- Experience using WordPress, Dropbox, Cvent or Better Impact
